D∙PARK has partnered with local living art creator Busyma Benny for this event, and invited more than 500 Tsuen Wan residents including parents, students, the elderly and people with disabilities through charitable organizations to participate in the event from January 6 to 11, 2025. During the day, they joined forces to make
The over 2-meter-high panda art installation and the 9-meter-long bamboo art porch add a rich artistic atmosphere to the shopping mall. Through art, people of all ages and from all walks of life can “share” joy and create memories. It can also help people with disabilities adapt to community life and integrate into society, deepen connections between each other and enhance community harmony. In addition, the mall recently invited students from schools in the Tsuen Wan District to create different paintings and interactive mini-dramas with the theme of "What would make a panda happy?" to convey the message of panda conservation! During the event, the mall will also host a "Panda Kids Play" on weekends, with a small play designed by students and played by a Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts instructor Busyma Benny, to further promote community exchanges. It is hoped that everyone can find simple inspiration in the students' creations. Happy, thereby enhancing awareness of giant panda conservation!
Panda Graffiti Zone explores diverse creations to stimulate unlimited artistic potential
Want to let your children unleash their unlimited creativity? D∙PARK specially organizes the "PANDA ART JAM" event to stimulate children's creative inspiration through free and improvisational art creation, allowing them to give full play to their wild and imaginative ideas. Everyone can be an artist! A large canvas will be laid on the ground floor of the venue, and parents can enter the graffiti area with their children. While playing with their children, parents can discover their children’s unlimited potential, explore their imagination together, and work together to complete the work. Activities must be booked in advance and are at your own expense. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
Experience the "Panda Yoga Studio" and learn the panda's slow-living attitude
Urbanites lead busy lives and need to slow down occasionally. We might as well learn from the pandas who always live a slow life! D∙PARK thoughtfully arranges the "Panda Slow Life Hall" to advocate a leisurely life through yoga. Parents and children are also welcome to "empty their minds" together and experience the slow-living attitude towards life. Mom, Dad and their children can put on panda costumes and have the instructor teach them simple yoga moves to enjoy parent-child yoga time! Parents can also collaborate with their children to complete challenging movements, thereby enhancing the trusting parent-child relationship. Activities must be booked in advance and are at your own expense. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
"Panda Spiritual Art Workshop" creates panda-themed handicrafts to send New Year blessings
As the Lunar New Year is approaching, children can also participate in the "Panda Spiritual Art Workshop" to use recycled materials to unleash their creativity and design Chinese New Year handicrafts, such as panda New Year hanging rings, good luck panda ornaments, panda fan paintings with blooming flowers, and panda-themed plants. Bonsai, etc., add decoration to your home and happily welcome the new year! The workshop encourages children to develop their personal creative qualities during the creative process and enjoy a good time of "relaxation" with their children. Children can also participate in the "Panda Face Painting" activity, where they can paint the lovable panda on their faces. This will simply add joy and color to their faces, and the children will surely have a blast! Activities must be booked in advance and are at your own expense. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
Limited panda-themed nostalgic parent-child activities to play nostalgic games and promote cultural inheritance
Hong Kong's nostalgic games are full of Hong Kong sentiments, rich history and culture. Children may have a vague feeling about nostalgic games. Parents can take the opportunity to bring their children to participate in "Panda Theme Nostalgic Games", such as three-level games, bamboo stick games and checkers. While reminiscing about your own childhood memories, you can also take your children to learn about traditional classic games so that they can understand the nostalgic toys of their parents’ generation and promote cultural “inheritance”. This is the best parent-child activity! Activities must be booked in advance and are at your own expense. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
